3 Macro perspective: Research on homosexuality and society

Society is a community of human life, an organic whole of people who are interconnected based on common material production activities. It is an important field for homosexual groups and a place that researchers must enter to study this group. Based on the search of China National Knowledge Infrastructure and the quality and quantity of literature, the author divides the relevant research results into the following three categories.

3.1 Homosexual groups under social and traditional culture

On the one hand, this type of research is based on the family-oriented thinking of Confucian culture, exploring the social dilemma of homosexual groups who find it difficult to return home; on the other hand, it is based on the Confucian idea of moderation, exploring the origin of the survival of homosexual groups in the mainstream society. The study found that the Confucian idea of moderation promoted the acceptance and tolerance of homosexuality in Chinese society. First, from a vertical perspective, the academic community sorted out the development process of homosexuality in China and found that male homosexuality was prevalent in ancient China. Not only did official institutions not punish it, but the people also took a tacit attitude. Secondly, from a horizontal perspective, some scholars found that the idea of moderation had a wide influence, and the legalization of homosexuality in the United States had a certain relationship with the idea of moderation [19]. However, there are still some problems in this part of the research, which can be summarized as follows: the academic community is too focused on Confucianism and culture, ignoring the changing fact that the development of modernization and urbanization in my country since the reform and opening up has long been integrated with traditional Confucianism, giving birth to new familism. The plight of homosexuals who find it difficult to return home has gradually eased under the influence of new familism.

3.2 Homosexual groups under social label stigmatization

Social label stigmatization is related to the "AIDS theory" of homosexuals. The author has roughly divided them into two categories through sorting: one is based on the perspective of gender structure, believing that the AIDS rate of gay men is significantly higher than that of lesbians; the other is based on the dimension of social justice to oppose the academic community's stigmatization of gay men. Only a small number of scholars have deeply analyzed the causes of the "AIDS theory" of homosexuals and put forward suggestions for AIDS prevention and control. It can be seen that domestic sociologists focus on the analysis of causes in their research on homosexual AIDS, but neglect to propose a long-term mechanism for homosexual AIDS prevention and control. In addition, stigmatization also affects the legislation of same-sex marriage. Professor Li Yinhe has proposed the legalization of same-sex marriage many times in meetings. Therefore, whether same-sex marriage is legal has always been one of the key issues discussed by the academic community [20]. The legality of same-sex marriage requires not only the continuous research of sociologists, but also the participation of legal scholars to make the research more scientific.

3.3 The homosexual community from the perspective of the general public

The general public has a complex background, so researchers cannot go deep into it. They can only explore the attitude of the general public towards the homosexual community. The attitude of college students towards the homosexual community is the most concerned by the academic community. The main reason is that the college student group is under the school management system, which makes it easier for researchers to collect and analyze data. In addition, the college student group is the main force in all walks of life in the future. Their attitudes and views largely represent the overall attitude of the future society [21]. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the views of college students on homosexuality, but their research path and methods generally adopt quantitative research methods, transforming the abstract concepts of views on homosexuality into various indicators, and then studying the differences in their attitudes towards homosexuality based on the different scores of the indicators. Compared with other research topics, the study of college students' attitudes is more scientific.

4 Overview

At present, the new phenomenon that the size of the domestic homosexual group is increasing rather than decreasing has attracted widespread attention from society and academia. The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is setting up a relevant gender research institute to study this special subculture group. Through the study of this group, it is also helpful to enhance the cohesion of a diversified society and promote the development of social modernization. Therefore, the author believes that it is necessary to sort out and summarize the previous research on this group, so that the new research content will be more scientific and rich.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE HERB CISTANCHE FOR IMPROVE HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP

First, from the perspective of the choice of research methods, the academic community tends to use qualitative research rather than quantitative research on homosexuality. When selecting interviewees, researchers mainly use snowball sampling methods to determine the interviewees. When conducting research, they often have their own "preconceived" theoretical assumptions and conduct observations and interviews under the guidance of these theoretical assumptions. This research method often brings in the personal preferences of the researchers and lacks a certain degree of scientificity. Secondly, in terms of research content, although the academic community has relatively rich research results in homosexual individuals, groups, society and families,
there are still some shortcomings in general. First, it lacks comprehensiveness, that is, the research perspective is single. In terms of the research on the factors that form homosexual orientation of homosexual individuals, domestic sociologists tend to single constructivism or essentialism, and there are few studies that can combine the two theories to analyze the causes; in terms of individual homosexual identity, the academic community pays more attention to the sexual identity of gay men, and there are fewer studies on lesbians. Second, it lacks profundity, that is, the research is superficial, and most of the current research is exploratory and descriptive analysis. Third, from a theoretical perspective, there are essentialism, constructivism, interactionism, labeling theory, dramaturgy, etc. in the theories related to homosexuality. However, most of the research on homosexuality by domestic sociologists is based on constructivism, and only a few scholars study the social roles of homosexuals from the perspective of interactionism and dramaturgy. In the context of modernization, the explanatory power of traditional theories is gradually weakened, and new theories are difficult to innovate. From the existing research results, homosexuality research has gradually become a professional discipline, lacking multidisciplinary and multi-theoretical cross-disciplinary research, and relevant scholars need to innovate boldly. Finally, the author believes that whether the research on the homosexual community adopts qualitative or quantitative research methods, the data collection method should get rid of the traditional single offline interview or questionnaire method, and at the same time broaden the collection channels, adopt the collection method of real community + virtual community, and enhance the scientificity, representativeness and richness of the data. In terms of research perspective, the academic community should strengthen interdisciplinary exchanges and cooperation, break the limitations of disciplinary barriers, and explore the phenomenon of homosexuality from a comprehensive perspective. Each discipline should learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses, make up for the shortcomings of their own research, and promote the research on the homosexual community to a deeper level.
