1. Clinical data

General information: All 53 patients came from the outpatient department of this hospital. All are women, among them, the youngest is 25 years old and the oldest is 58 years old, with an average of 34 years old. The peak incidence is between 35 and 47 years old. The shortest course is half a year, the longest is 30 years, and the average is 5 years. There were 12 cases on the left side, 7 cases on the right side, and 34 cases on both sides.

Case criteria: All 53 patients met the diagnostic criteria established by the "Experience Exchange Meeting of Breast Disease Subject Group of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese National Association of Chinese Medicine". Age distribution: 25-35 years old, 5 cases; 35-45 years old, 35 cases; 45-55 years old, 11 cases; 55 years old, 2 cases.


2. Treatment method

Treat with traditional Chinese medicine decoction (Er xian Decoction): medicinal deerhorn cream, curculio, Yinyanghuo, Morinda Officinalis, Anemarrhena, Phellodendron amurense. Add cinnamon and dodder if the meridian is not smooth and insufficiency and cold. Add Rehmannia glutinosa and Shouwu if lack of blood. Add Cistanche and Cynomorium if constipation. Cistanche can tonifying the kidney and relax the bowel. Add Codonopsis and Astragalus for qi deficiency. Add broiled nails and kelp for large and hard lumps; add products for soothing the liver, invigorating blood, and dispelling stagnation before menstruation. 20 to 24 days is a course of treatment (adjusted according to the menstrual cycle), stop taking during the menstrual period, and observe the curative effect after taking three courses.

3. Observation of curative effect

The curative effect evaluation criteria are based on the diagnostic criteria formulated by the "Experience Exchange Meeting of the Breast Disease Subject Group of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese National Association of Chinese Medicine".

Results: 28 cases were markedly effective, accounting for 52.8%; 11 cases were effective, accounting for 20.8%; 7 cases improved, accounting for 13.2%; 7 cases were ineffective, accounting for 13.2%. The total effective rate is 86.8%.


4. Discussion

Breasts belong to the two channels of Chong and Ren. However, Chong and Ren have no internal organs. They cannot travel alone. Chong Ren belongs to the liver and kidney.
