Abstract:
[Objective] to explore the anti-fatigue effect of Cistanche deserticola oral liquid on athletes.
[Methods] 60 athletes in our school were randomly selected as the research objects and randomly divided into three groups. The first group drank 75ml of 5% glucose oral liquid per person, the second group drank 75ml of mineral water per person, and the third group took 75ml of Cistanche deserticola oral liquid per person. By comparing the time and heart rate of the three groups of athletes after running 5000m, as well as the blood lactic acid values of the three groups of athletes at 5min and 15min after running 5000m, to analyze the anti-fatigue effect of Cistanche deserticola oral liquid.
[Results] the exercise time of the three groups taking Cistanche deserticola oral liquid and the first group taking glucose was significantly shorter than that of the second group drinking mineral water (P < 0.05); The heart rate of the third group was significantly different from that of the other two groups, P < 0.05; Five minutes after the 5000m distance speed test, there was no significant difference in the accumulation of lactic acid in the three groups. After 15 minutes, the whole blood lactic acid in the third group decreased faster than that in the other two groups.
[Conclusion] Cistanche deserticola oral liquid can significantly reduce the amount of lactic acid in the human body, has an obvious anti-fatigue effect, and has a good application prospect.

Cistanche deserticola mainly grows in Western China. It is a perennial parasitic herb in deserts and other places. Cistanche deserticola has been used as medicine in China for 1800 years. It is said that the ancients preferred Cistanche deserticola to use drugs in the treatment of strengthening physical strength, which has good effects. From the research of Cistanche deserticola, it has been known that it has high medicinal value in strengthening yang, moistening intestines and defecation, anti-fatigue, anti-aging, enhancing memory and so on. Pharmacological studies on Cistanche deserticola show that the phenylethanol glycosides extracted from Cistanche deserticola have many biological functions, such as anti-oxidation, anti-aging and memory enhancement. The extracted products also include iridoids, lignans and their glycosides, as well as sugars that can provide 7 kinds of amino acids and energy for human body.
At present, most of the anti-fatigue studies of Cistanche deserticola are focused on mice. The relevant pharmacological experiments of Cistanche deserticola show that Cistanche deserticola is non-toxic and can be applied to human research. However, the experimental research on anti-fatigue of mice is very different from the demand of human body for taking Cistanche deserticola oral liquid. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a clear pharmacological study on human research objects. Exercise-induced fatigue is an important reason to seriously reduce the body's exercise ability. At present, the cause of human fatigue is generally believed to be the accumulation of lactic acid produced by anaerobic breathing in the body, resulting in pain and fatigue. Relevant mouse studies show that Cistanche deserticola can enhance the anti-fatigue ability of mice and prolong its hypoxia tolerance time. Exercise endurance and hypoxia tolerance can reflect the degree of human anti-fatigue. By comparing the exercise endurance and hypoxia tolerance of 60 athletes, this study discusses the anti-fatigue effect of Cistanche deserticola oral liquid on athletes. The specific contents are reported as follows:

1 Material and Methods
1.1 Research object
This study randomly selected 60 athletes in our school as the research object, including 46 boys and 14 girls. They were randomly divided into 3 groups with 20 people in each group. There were 16 boys and 4 girls in group 1, aged between 18-23 years, with an average age of 19 years; There were 15 boys and 5 girls in group 2, with an average age of 19 years; There were 15 boys and 5 girls in group 3, with an average age of 20 years. During this study, all subjects participating in the experimental study did not drink other drinks or drugs that conflict with the experimental study. Statistical analysis the height, weight and heart rate of the subjects were not significantly different and comparable, and the general data of the subjects were not statistically significant.
1.2 materials
1.2.1 preparation of Cistanche deserticola oral liquid:
Wild Cistanche deserticola purchased from Inner Mongolia, which is confirmed by traditional Chinese medicine doctors as the dried stem of leonidaceae and Cistanche deserticola; After the medicinal materials were ground and broken, they were heated at high temperature with 10 times of 70% ethanol. The effective components in Cistanche deserticola were extracted by reflux twice in an hour. A total of two times of high-temperature reflux extraction were carried out. Finally, the two reflux liquids were filtered and combined; Decompressing the recovered liquid to recover the residual ethanol in the liquid; Then continue to depressurize, compress the liquid into paste, cool and dry it for 24 hours, and dissolve the paste with an appropriate amount of steaming water. Because the maximum dispensing concentration of Cistanche deserticola is about 1g / ml, the concentration of the liquid is adjusted to 0.5g/ml, and the content of each cup is 100ml, which is standby. Cistanche deserticola oral liquid, brown, slightly sweet and bitter, has the effects of Tonifying Kidney Yang and benefiting essence and blood.
1.3 experimental methods
1.3.1 administration method
The three groups drank different drinks. The subjects in each group can drink freely every day, and the athletes in the third group can drink 100ml Cistanche deserticola oral liquid every day for 30 days. After 30 days, the subjects participating in the test were tested for 5000m. Thirty minutes before the test, the first group drank 75ml 5% glucose oral liquid per person, the second group drank 75ml mineral water per person, and the third group drank 75ml Cistanche deserticola oral liquid per person.
1.3.2 endurance test method
Before starting the test, monitor the time and heart rate of each athlete after running 5000m. After the third group of athletes continued to drink Cistanche deserticola oral liquid for 30 days, the time and heart rate of each athlete after running 5000m were measured again. The athletes of the three groups shall take the specified drinks 30 minutes before the second test. Lactic acid is an important index to detect the anti-fatigue effect. In this study, whole blood was taken before and after taking drinks. According to the procedures specified in the whole blood lactic acid determination kit, the whole blood lactic acid of three groups of athletes was measured 5 minutes and 15 minutes after 5000m exercise.
2 Results
2.1 comparison results of the final running time of 5000m among the three groups of athletes
The average time of running 5000m for each group of athletes after taking drinks was compared. Before taking the drink, there was no significant difference in the running time of 5000m among the three groups. After taking the drink for 30 minutes, the running time of 5000m was tested again. According to the statistical data processing results, it was found that the exercise time of the third group taking Cistanche deserticola oral liquid and the first group taking glucose was significantly shorter than that of the second group drinking mineral water, P < 0.05, It shows that Cistanche deserticola oral liquid has the same anti-fatigue effect as glucose.
2.2 comparison of heart rate of the three groups of athletes after running 5000m after taking drinks
The heart rate of the three groups of athletes was measured immediately after running 5000m before and after taking drinks
Compare the results. There was no difference in the heart rate measured immediately after running 5000m before taking the beverage among the three groups of athletes. There was no significant difference between the first group and the second group of athletes before and after taking the beverage, but there was a significant difference in the heart rate of the third group compared with the other two groups, P < 0.05, indicating that Cistanche deserticola oral liquid can significantly improve the athletes' exercise endurance.
2.3 comparison of blood lactic acid of three groups of athletes after taking drinks
The lactic acid measured by whole blood was collected 30 minutes after drinking the beverage and 5 minutes and 15 minutes after running 5000m. Five minutes after the 5000m distance speed test, there was no significant difference in the accumulation of lactic acid in the three groups. After 15 minutes, the whole blood lactic acid in the third group decreased faster than that in the other two groups, indicating that Cistanche deserticola oral liquid has a certain effect in reducing the content of lactic acid in the body, indicating that Cistanche deserticola oral liquid has a certain effect on reducing fatigue.

3 Discussions
3.1 study on the effect of Cistanche deserticola oral liquid
As a traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine has become more and more important in modern pharmacological research. The components extracted from the dried stem of Cistanche deserticola were made into an oral liquid with a concentration of 0.5g/ml. Through experimental comparative study, there was no significant difference between the exercise time of athletes taking Cistanche deserticola oral liquid and that of athletes taking oral glucose, but there was a significant difference with the second group of athletes drinking mineral water, indicating that Cistanche deserticola oral liquid and glucose provide energy in the body It plays the same role in supplementing the loss of the body. The heart rate of athletes taking Cistanche deserticola oral liquid was slower than that of the other two groups after 5000m, indicating that Cistanche deserticola oral liquid can improve athletes' exercise endurance; By comparing the whole blood lactic acid of the three groups of athletes, the decrease of lactic acid of the athletes taking Cistanche deserticola orally after completing the distance of 5000m is significantly greater than that of the other two groups, which fully shows that Cistanche deserticola oral liquid can fully play the role of anti-fatigue.
Many studies on Cistanche deserticola show that Cistanche deserticola has a good anti-fatigue effect. Most studies on anti-fatigue of Cistanche deserticola take mice as the research object. Han Chunli and Hou Jinfeng studied the anti-fatigue effect of Cistanche deserticola Decoction by measuring the swimming time and serum creatine kinase after load exercise, and observing the ultrastructure of mouse skeletal muscle. Gao Zhanyou, Zhou Haitao, etc. also used mice as the research object and took the swimming exhaustion time of mice as the index to study the anti-fatigue effect of Cistanche deserticola.
4 Conclusion
Cistanche deserticola has many components, which can provide energy for the body and have the effect of anti-fatigue. At present, most relevant studies take mice as the research object, and many research indicators can get the desired results on the premise of lethal mice. At present, there is little relevant literature on human research objects. On the premise of ensuring human health, which test item is used as an index to evaluate the anti-fatigue effect of Cistanche deserticola is worthy of deep thinking by researchers. The research on the anti-fatigue effect of Cistanche deserticola is ultimately to serve mankind, so the majority of researchers need to have a deeper and broader research in this field. With the in-depth study of Cistanche deserticola, Cistanche deserticola is expected to become a functional anti-fatigue drug.
