Abstract: During the chemotherapy of malignant tumors, many different types of adverse reactions and complications can be caused. Through long-term observation and analysis from the perspective of ancient Chinese medicine, the adverse reactions caused by chemotherapy drugs mainly interfere with the human body's "returning the cycle of yin and yang and five elements", leading to various adverse reactions and concurrent certification. Guided by the theory of Qihua in ancient Chinese medicine, the use of cistanche granules to treat 1 case of weakness after chemotherapy has achieved good results, which reflects the guiding significance of the theory of yin-yang and five-element qi-Hua in practice in ancient Chinese medicine.

The patient was female, 63 years old. In April 2016, due to a subcutaneous mass in the right occipital area, he went to a local hospital for surgical treatment.
