New Hope For Patients With Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Globally, the mortality rate of lung cancer ranks first among all malignant tumors. Head-to-head data comparing the efficacy and safety of lorlatinib and crizotinib in the first-line treatment of untreated ALK-positive NSCLC, based on the CROWN study previously conducted, found that lorlatinib was effective in treatment-naïve or crizotinib. Among the patients with ROS1-positive advanced NSCLC who failed tinib treatment, it is innovative that lorlatinib achieved a higher response rate and durable response time for patients with positive brain metastases.

Lorlatinib has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the first-line treatment of adult patients with ALK-positive metastatic NSCLC confirmed by an FDA-approved test, based on impressive data from its CROWN study.
