In the first half of 2024, more than 4500 tons of fresh Cistanche deserticola were harvested in Hotan County. 18 cooperatives participated in planting management, and 8 cooperatives carried out primary processing, with sales reaching 87 million yuan. During the excavation and harvesting season, more than 7000 flexible laborers were employed, with a per capita daily income of over 300 yuan.
