4 Discussion and conclusion

The research in this article shows that the content of the polysaccharide parts of Cistanche deserticola decreases after steaming with wine, and it is speculated that the polysaccharide is hydrolyzed during the steaming process; the content of betaine in the oligosaccharide parts of Cistanche deserticola increases after steaming with wine, and betaine components may be generated during the processing process. The betaine content increased; the total glycoside components, and the content of echinaceaside slightly decreased, the content of verbascoside decreased, and the content of heterogeneous comimicin increased.

Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) has many causes, and its pathogenesis is a metabolic disorder of sugar, fat, and protein due to β-cell dysfunction and insulin resistance. Among them, genes, obesity, and physical activity are the most important risk factors for type 2 diabetes [22]. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine

According to analysis, type 2 diabetes belongs to the category of "quenching thirst", and the syndrome of spleen and kidney yang deficiency is due to the depletion of yang qi, which cannot nourish the spleen and kidneys in the state of spleen yang deficiency, thus leading to the occurrence of yang qi damage [23]. HbA1c is the "gold standard" for evaluating blood sugar control in diabetes. The British Prospective Diabetes Study found that the higher the HbA1c level, the greater the risk of chronic complications of diabetes. This experiment shows that Cistanche deserticola polysaccharides and oligosaccharides and Tartistan deserticola oligosaccharides and total glycosides can significantly reduce HbA1c levels.

30% Echinacoside and 12% Acteoside Cistanche Supplements is best used consistently for 2+ weeks to fully benefit from its effects. When used acutely for just 1-3 days a larger dose will be required to feel the effects of sexual function, especially for Impotence, and Premature Ejaculation, and even then the effect size will be smaller than if cistanche is dosed consistently for 2+ weeks.

Relative insufficient secretion of INS is one of the pathogenesis mechanisms of type 2 diabetes [24].

This study proves that all parts of Cistanche deserticola and Alcoholic acid deserticola can increase insulin levels, indicating that different extracted parts of raw Cistanche deserticola can increase insulin secretion. MLB has important reference significance for early renal damage, and urinary Cr can accurately reflect the status of renal function [25]. The total glycosides of Cistanche deserticola and the total polysaccharides of Tartschala deserticola significantly reduced mALB levels, and the total glycosides of Cistanche deserticola, polysaccharides and oligosaccharides of Tartistan deserticola significantly reduced the level of Cr and reduced renal function damage. UA causes endothelial dysfunction and aggravates insulin resistance by participating in oxidative stress [26]. Cistanche deserticola total glycosides and

The total polysaccharides of tartaric acid can significantly reduce UA levels, reduce uric acid secretion, and reduce insulin resistance.

The main manifestations of dyslipidemia in type 2 diabetes are elevated levels of HDL-C, LDL-C, and TG. These factors are also factors that induce atherosclerosis [27]. In this experiment, the serum levels of the total polysaccharides, total oligosaccharides, and total glycosides of Cistanche deserticola and the total polysaccharides and total glycosides of Tartscholaris

HDL-C, LDL-C and TG levels are all reduced to varying degrees, which can reduce blood lipids to a certain extent and promote hypoglycemic effects. Different extracted parts of Cistanche deserticola can significantly increase HDL-C/TC levels and reduce the atherosclerosis index. It is suggested that different extracted parts of Cistanche deserticola are beneficial in the treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

Studies have found that the expression level of MDA in diabetic patients is higher than that in normal people; the activity of superoxide dismutase SOD in diabetic patients is lower than that in normal people, suggesting that oxidative stress may play an important role in the occurrence and development of diabetic nephropathy [28] . In this experiment, the MDA levels of each administration group decreased to varying degrees, and the SOD activity increased, indicating that the extracted parts of Cistanche deserticola and Tartscholaris have the effect of inhibiting oxidative stress.

This article conducted an in-depth study on the hypoglycemic effects of different extracted parts of Cistanche deserticola. It was found that the total glycosides of Cistanche deserticola and Tartscholaris have good hypoglycemic effects. The polysaccharides and oligosaccharides of Tartiana desertica also have certain hypoglycemic effects. This provides a basis for the rational clinical application of Cistanche deserticola and its Processed products provide reliable experimental basis. Cistanche deserticola is a famous tonic traditional Chinese medicine in my country. It has a wide range of pharmacological effects and plays a huge role in the prevention and treatment of clinical diseases. It has good application prospects. However, the bioactive components and mechanisms of Cistanche deserticola's anti-hyperglycemic and hypolipidemic effects need to be further studied.
